Using Bluetooth data transmission and SD data storage technology, the Mark II enables a solution for highly portable data collection. It also makes teaching and learning significantly more efficient. For physicians, the Mark II can be used to train researchers and clinicians in a variety of settings. Support for memory cards up to 64 gigabytes allows for recording data for longer periods of time without having to frequently export data to the desktop. The benefit of wireless is that connection failures due to misplaced cables can be minimized. This is a significant advantage in conducting studies with children and in walking environments. The entire system is portable and can be easily used in any location for data collection.

Comprehensive functionsThe Mark II is a full-featured, high performance multi-channel physiological recorder with a total of 10 channels of data interfaces to provide comprehensive data for monitoring and teaching tools. 4 fast channels with 2048 samples per second allow simultaneous acquisition of EMG, EEG, ECG, EOG and potential slow cortical potentials in the EEG. 6 additional interfaces allow connection of skin temperature, respiration, heart rate and electrodermal sensors. The Mark II is the first physiological feedback system to support SCP, EOG and SPO2 modules, and has reserved modules that can be enabled when they become available in the future. The DC amplifier supports recording of cortical slow potentials and EOG. |

Higher precisionWith eight independent 24-bit converters, higher bandwidth, greater dynamic range (200,000 microvolts) and higher accuracy are available. This may seem over-configured today, but within 5 years this could be the industry standard. the Mark II has a 1KHz digital input channel and events can be displayed digitally as they occur. |
