Learning and mastering these rules is an important way for individuals to adapt to their environment and survive well, i.e., statistical learning. To date, however, most statistical learning research has been based on the individual level, with little exploration of the mechanisms of statistical learning in social settings, especially in joint action scenarios with others.<strong>In everyday life, people often need to identify and learn rules not only for their own task information, but also for acquiring task information from others.<\/strong>An example of this is the playing of music with four hands.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 15px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-decoration: underline;\">To explore the above joint statistical learning phenomenon, the\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 15px; letter-spacing: 1px;\">Professor Wang Jun's team in the School of Psychology of Zhejiang Normal University has conducted in-depth research in the above direction, and the related results were published in the international well-known journal of psychology, Cognition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; line-height: 2em; padding: 6px;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"rich_pages wxw-img\" style=\"box-sizing: border-box; vertical-align: inherit; border-radius: 0px; padding: 5px; box-shadow: #979899 0px 0px 6px; width: 100%; height: auto; border: 1px solid #979899;\" src=\"http:\/\/hengzhikj.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/wxsync-2023-03-e3a04f6a7e9428c63764ff241593f278.png\" data-backh=\"178.666666\" data-backw=\"418.666666\" data-galleryid=\"\" data-ratio=\"0.4259927797833935\" data-s=\"300,640\" data-type=\"png\" data-w=\"554\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; line-height: 2em;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 15px; letter-spacing: 1px;\">The study combines social learning transfer and the serial response-time paradigm in statistical learning.<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 15px; letter-spacing: 1px;\">Experiment 1 used a joint practice scenario in which a stimulus stream containing two fixation sequences was assigned to two participants, in which each participant was required to practice only one of the fixation sequences in the stimulus stream without pressing a key in response to the fixation sequence of the peer task. It was found that subjects in the belief scenario (Experiment 4) showed the same socio-statistical learning effect that<strong>That is, direct learning and indirect learning effects were produced.
